The ΅RUeNTERΆ project aims to focus on and analyse the needs regarding public services support of users in four rural areas of EU member states with different degrees of e-services deployment and adoption. The main RUeNTER idea is to support the development of innovative ICT-based content, services, pedagogies and practices for lifelong learning for adult population in rural areas. It will study existing e-services for these rural areas and their level of awareness, and it will develop and evaluate a vocational training curriculum focusing on how to prepare rural population to use and exploit cases of e-services. In addition, a Portal of e- services for rural areas will also be deployed. It is a pilot project that is funded by the European CommisionΆs GRUNDTVIG Multilateral project programme. It has started on Novenber 2009 and is expected to run for 2 years. 1/11/2009 - 31/10/2011
