Nursery School - Kindergarden School

In both the Nursery as well as the Kindergarten School we aim to introduce the children into the educational procedure by stimulating and expanding their interests. We channel their energy, enthusiasm and creativity into games, songs, drawing and gradually into the very core of learning. We place particular emphasis on the interaction of our preschoolers with their natural and social environment without failing to promote the individual approach for each child.
The main objectives of our Kindergarten School are:

	Emotional maturity, familiarization with the new social environment and compliance to behavioral rules both on an individual and group scale. It is in Kindergarten that a twelve-year school life begins and we have to make sure that our children always feel secure and happy.
	The development of the preschooler's intellectual skills. We are trying to foster the abilities that will allow young learners to classify and enrich their experiences and the stimuli they are exposed to in their natural and social environment.
	Physique development Psychokinetic exercises help the preschoolers familiarize themselves with their own bodies and capacities, control and coordinate their movements and tune in with the rhythm and the music. It is in this framework that a multifaceted and flexible programme has been developed to serve the working parents' needs.

In this context, we have designed a many-sided program, flexible as far as time-schedule is concerned, so that all employed parents will be able to adjust it to their day-plan. The programme includes learning of the mother tongue, daily teaching of the German language, familiarization with modern technology as well as pre-writing and pre-mathematical exercises.
All the learning material has been written by a group of experienced Greek and German kindergarten teachers and is based on the following principle method: playing and daily experimentation help the children expand their experience and mental abilities.
Puppet-theatre, drawing, ballet-dancing and swimming lead to the development of the children's talents, while singing provides the very first stimuli for a future conscious understanding of sounds.

For the warm Saturdays of the school-year, we organize walking excursions in the country-side with the responsibility of the Physical Education teachers of our school.

Kindergarten life becomes even livelier with our parties on Saturdays and Sundays. The trainers and PE teachers play, dance, and sing along with the children according to a unique programme on each occasion.
Our ambition is that the child will receive by us an equal amount of love, tenderness and security which it in turn will provide to others as a mature adult.
We should not forget that the Kindergarten is the window through which the child will take its first look of the world and will begin its long flight towards the world.
