The AIDEA (AI-Driven Educators Academy) project is an Erasmus+ Teacher Academy initiative that aims to transform teacher education through the pedagogical and ethical integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project develops an innovative modular training framework that empowers primary and secondary school teachers to effectively integrate AI tools into their teaching practices, fostering students’ critical thinking, creativity, inclusion, and digital literacy. Through international collaboration networks, teacher mobility activities, digital learning communities, and real-world school implementations, AIDEA seeks to build a sustainable European network of AI-competent educators while contributing to policy recommendations for the responsible adoption of AI in education across Europe. 1/1/2026 - 31/12/2028
